Goodies up for auction/raffle!
Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that myself & Helen have been working hard these last few weeks contacting local sports clubs, comedians etc to try and get some goodies to raffle or auction off to help raise funds for Leukaemia CARE.. and so far we have secured the following:
- Two Take That standing tickets, for their concert in Manchester on Sunday 5 June 2011. (Face value is £125 for the pair)
As these are our most valuable items, they will go on auction and be given to the highest bidder.. So get your bids in by 30 November to be in with a chance! Please remember, it's all for a fantastic cause so dig deep! (A great Christmas/birthday/anniversary pressie or for the ladies out there!!)
- A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to do a tour of the Manchester City Stadium & Museum.. This ticket is valid for 6 months.
- A signed Jason Manford DVD, from his tour in 2009, filmed in Manchester.
- A signed Ed Byrne DVD from his latest tour.
We will keep this blog, as well as our facebook page, updated with any more goodies we manage to get hold of..
Most importantly, we are going to dedicate a week to each item, so ANY donation (however big or small) will make each one of you eligible to win the item.. Which we think would make a fantastic addition to a Christmas stocking!
So, whether you donate £1 or £100, you're in with a chance! EACH donation will count, so feel free to keep giving to increase your chances!!
At the end of each week, I'll put every name in a hat a pick one, at random.You have our word that it will all be done fairly!

In the meantime, I hope everyone's keeping well and not letting the weather get you down! The Christmas markets should be all open soon so can make the most of the mulled wine on offer!
