New addition to the goodies!

Hey everyone!
Just to update you all, Liverpool FC has kindly given us a family ticket (maximum of 4 people) for a free Stadium & Museum Tour of Anfield, as well as a high quality print of the current 09/10 squad, with signatures. Please note that this is a copy, and not an original signed photo.
So a great addition, which will be added to the items listed in the previous post.
As with the others, anyone donating any amount between 1 December and 15 December will be in with a chance of winning one of these items!

Time to Donate to win those goodies!

Now guys, as you know we’d like to raise as much money as we possibly can, and I’ve managed to get some goodies to raffle off:

A signed Ed Byrne DVD from his latest tour,

A signed Jason Manford DVD from his 2009 tour

and.. a family ticket for the Manchester City football club stadium and museum.

Any other items I manage to get will also be added to the offerings..

ANY donation made from today, Wednesday 01 December – Wednesday 15 December, either in cash in person or online on my Justgiving website will mean your name will be put in the hat the win these items. For each pound donated, you’ll get your name in the hat once. So £1, one chance, £5, five chances; you get the idea..

Goodies up for auction/raffle!

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to let you know that myself & Helen have been working hard these last few weeks contacting local sports clubs, comedians etc to try and get some goodies to raffle or auction off to help raise funds for Leukaemia CARE.. and so far we have secured the following:

- Two Take That standing tickets, for their concert in Manchester on Sunday 5 June 2011. (Face value is £125 for the pair)

As these are our most valuable items, they will go on auction and be given to the highest bidder.. So get your bids in by 30 November to be in with a chance! Please remember, it's all for a fantastic cause so dig deep! (A great Christmas/birthday/anniversary pressie or for the ladies out there!!)

- A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to do a tour of the Manchester City Stadium & Museum.. This ticket is valid for 6 months.

- A signed Jason Manford DVD, from his tour in 2009, filmed in Manchester.

- A signed Ed Byrne DVD from his latest tour.


We will keep this blog, as well as our facebook page, updated with any more goodies we manage to get hold of..

Most importantly, we are going to dedicate a week to each item, so ANY donation (however big or small) will make each one of you eligible to win the item.. Which we think would make a fantastic addition to a Christmas stocking!

Welcome to our blog!

When we decided to do a charity skydive, we wanted to try and raise as much money as possible for Leukaemia CARE, and given that we have 3 months (tomorrow- eeek!) to do it, we thought it would be good to try and make the most out of the time available to us, and create some information pages online to go along with our justgiving donation page, so we can give you guys as much info, updates etc as to how we’re getting on!

We’re going to be planning a number of holiday themed fundraising events over the next few weeks, as well as random things here and there to further entice you to get your cash out! If you could let as many people as you can know about our cause, and the various webpages that would be great! And in return we’ll try our best to organise something you’d be interested in getting involved with or attending!

Hopefully we’ll be able to get some charity t-shirts sent to us soon, and we’ll add some pictures of us wearing them in all their glory!

We’d also love to hear any comments or ideas you guys might have to help us get to our ideal grand total of £1000! Think comic relief, children in need etc, what crazy things would you be willing to sponsor us doing?! (Aside from jumping out of a plane – although I’m trying to stay excited, let’s face it, it’s still pretty scary!)

That’s about it for now, I’ll add another posting this evening with all our other online details – we’re on pretty much all the social networking websites that are out there!
